Introduction
I assisted Latent Space labs in creating Cadmium, a desktop app that uses machine learning to quickly colorize sequences of frames automatically.
Paper: Animation Transformer
In order to automate the colorization-process, a new machine learning architecture, which is based on Transformers, has been developed by the team.
You can read more about the technical details in the paper The Animation Transformer: Visual Correspondence via Segment Matching on arXiv.
